On December 11th, the “Architects of AI” were named Time’s Person of the Year. The magazine said that 2025 was when the potential of artificial intelligence “roared into view” with no turning back.
 　“For delivering the age of thinking machines, for wowing and worrying humanity, for transforming the present and transcending the possible, the Architects of AI are TIME’s 2025 Person of the Year,” Time said.
 　The magazine was deliberate in selecting people — the “individuals who imagined, designed, and built AI” — rather than the technology itself.
 　The cover image shows eight tech leaders sitting on a steel beam high above New York City, just like the famous 1932 photograph: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, AMD CEO Lisa Su, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, the CEO of Google’s DeepMind division Demis Hassabis, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li, who launched her own startup World Labs last year.
 　Five of the eight people selected — Musk, Zuckerberg, Huang, Altman and Su — are already billionaires.

　《時代》雜誌表示：「AI 建築師開啟了機器思考的時代，改變了當今社會，超越了各種可能性，令人既驚嘆又擔憂。因此，我們將這群AI 建築師評為2025 年度風雲人物。」
　《時代》雜誌刻意選擇人類——「構思、設計和建構人工智慧的個人」作為年度人物，而不是AI 科技本身。
　雜誌封面照向1932 年那張知名的照片致敬，獲選的8 位科技企業領導人一起坐在紐約高空中的一根鋼梁上，包括：Meta 執行長祖克柏、AMD 執行長蘇姿丰、特斯拉執行長馬斯克、輝達執行長黃仁勳、OpenAI 執行長奧特曼、谷歌旗下公司DeepMind 執行長哈薩比斯、Anthropic 執行長阿莫戴，以及去年成立AI 新創公司World Labs 的AI先鋒李飛飛。
　入選的8 位年度風雲人物中有5 位已是億萬富翁，包括馬斯克、祖克柏、黃仁勳、奧特曼，以及蘇姿丰。
