Time Magazine named Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy its person of the year. Editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal said the choice of Zelenskyy — alongside “the spirit of Ukraine” — was “the most clear-cut in memory.”
 　A comedian-turned-politician who was elected to lead Ukraine in 2019, Zelenskyy has worked ceaselessly since Russia’s invasion to inspire his country’s resistance and marshal international support. Time Magazine awarded him the accolade “for proving that courage can be as contagious as fear, for stirring people and nations to come together in defense of freedom, for reminding the world of the fragility of democracy and peace.”
 　On the other hand, Korean girl group Blackpink became the second Korean group to receive Time Magazine’s Entertainer of the Year, after boy band BTS. Time described Blackpink as the biggest girl group in the world and said that they will continue to play its role as a trendsetting icon in music, beauty, fashion, and other industries.

　另一方面，韓國女團Blackpink 獲選為《時代雜誌》的年度藝人，成為繼男團BTS之後，韓國第二個獲此殊榮的團體。《時代雜誌》形容Blackpink 是全世界最紅的女團，未來將持續在音樂、美妝、時尚與其他產業中，扮演引領潮流的標誌性角色。
