The Naughty Boy

Tom : Auntie ! One of my toes hurts very much! See! It is swollen like a balloon .
Aunt Polly：Like a balloon ? I can't see anything wrong with your toe. Don' t act any more.
Tom：Yes ! Yes! It is really painful!

Auntie Polly was shocked at Tom's painful look, became nervous, and almost believed him; but after a short while, she was relieved, smiled and then became solemn.

Aunt Polly：Don't play tricks anymore! Or I'll have a doctor give you a shot!
Tom：Oh! No! Auntie! I don't want to have a shot! My toe is not painful at all now.

Tom：Auntie….. My teeth are aching perfectly awful.

Tom：Oh, please, auntie, don't pull it out. It doesn't hurt any more. Please don't, auntie. I don't want to stay home from school now.
Aunt Polly：Oh, don't you? So all the row this morning was because you thought you'd
get to stay home from school? Tom, I love you so much, but you always make me heartbroken with your naughtiness.

湯姆：姨媽….我的牙齒疼得厲害阿。
波莉姨媽：嗯…… 確實是有顆牙齒鬆動了。我可以幫你把它拔出來。
湯姆：噢，拜託，阿姨，不要拔我的牙。它現在不痛了。拜託不要，阿姨。我現在不想逃學了啦。
波莉姨媽：噢，現在不想啦？原來今天一大早吵吵鬧鬧的就是因為你不想上學嗎？湯姆，我這麼的愛你，而你總是調皮的讓我傷心。
